I was at a wedding recently and saw this little boy running around. He is dressed in the way sheikhs dress when they are at formal events. How CUTE is he?!? The stick thing is essentially a riding crop for camels but men carry it on formal occasions like funerals or weddings etc.
This is SUCH a fascinating culture. I can't believe I am barely dipping my toe in after 2.5 years!
By the way, when I pulled my camera out there
was a reaction from all the women - they DON'T want their picture taken because they are not wearing their abayyaas. Weddings are the place to show it all off!
