June 12 - Again this is Stephanie’s father Ken reporting.
The doctors continue to be pleased with the results of removing a rather large abscess. Steph’s elevated temperature events have stopped and she is feeling much, much better. They have left the wound open so that it can be irrigated twice a day. Their initial plan was for her to remain hospitalized for a week so wound management could be carefully handled. It is going very well and there is talk of her possibly being released earlier but that may mean on the condition she find housing near the hospital. We just don’t have the word on that yet.
Tom and Layla made it over from their home across the border for 1 day and night of sleep in the hospital but all decided that overall life and children management was easier if Tom and Layla return home.
Lou is still in the hospital 24/7 with Stephanie and Ryan. She has extended her stay for one week departing on June 22. Ryan seems to be adjusting well to the milk formula that they started because of the antibiotics Steph had to take.
Thanks for continuing to uphold everyone!!
