Last week we had to have blood drawn for Layla's eye issue. It turns out that everything is clear, so we are greatly relieved. I was SO proud of Layla who didn't even cry although they had to take THREE vials of blood! The tech was very impressed and gave her two bottles of bubbles as a reward. It was a perfect gift.
For the rest of the day Layla walked around saying "see my big bandaid? It hurt a little bit and then it went away." she says this with a very serious look on her face (=

Oh my goodness, YOU are amazing for raising such an amazing child...
...and Layla is amazing for being being so amazing! (I refer to her verbal expression and emotional processing/expression capabilities. Not that she didn't cry...though that is remarkable as well!)
And I must be an amazing Aunt as well then... :)
